Under the Gun tells the story of a high school student named Goh Gun (played by SF9’s Zuho), who is known as the “slang kid” at his school. Apart from being handsome and popular, Goh Gun has extraordinary abilities in playing Texas Hold’em poker.
However, Goh Gun’s life changes drastically when his beloved little sister is diagnosed with leukemia. Expensive medical costs make it difficult for Goh Gun’s family.
In the midst of despair, Goh Gun uses his poker skills to earn money to pay for his sister’s treatment. He started playing in illegal, high-stakes poker tournaments.
Meanwhile, Goh Gun is in a relationship with Se Young, his classmate. However, their friendship is disturbed by the presence of Tae Ha, who also has feelings for Se Young. Tae Ha will be an obstacle in Goh Gun and Se Young’s love story.
